Introduction

One of the most important centres for the study of art & design in the UK, BIAD offers exceptional facilities for specialist areas such as jewellery and silversmithing that are simply not available elsewhere. Situated in several small campuses around the centre of Britain's second city of Birmingham, BIAD covers theatre, performance and architecture as well as the more traditional art & design programmes.

BIAD benefits from being part of Birmingham City University, one of three in the heart of that city, making it very student focused and a hothouse for art and design. BIAD is definitely worth consideration if your interests lie in the art & design sphere.
