University of Birmingham

Introduction

The University of Birmingham is one of the most popular UK study destinations for international students. It was recently ranked 11th in the UK and 64th in the world by QS World University Rankings. Birmingham is also ranked 4th in the UK for Graduate Prospects in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2015, placing higher than University of Oxford and the London School of Economics. In an employability survey published by the New York Times, where CEOs and chairmans were asked to the top universities which they recruited from, Birmingham placed 55th in the world.

The student population is ranked 11th in the UK, with around 19,000 undergraduate and 9,000 postgraduate students. They are also a truly international university including 4,000 international students from nearly 150 different countries.
