Introduction

University of Worcester enjoyed an applications increase of more than 10% this year, and over the past seven years, applications have more than tripled. There are currently more than 9,500 students at Worcester and the majority come from the West Midlands, but applications from further afield are increasing.

The university opened a new multimillion-pound campus in Worcester city centre, which is now home to its business school. The university is involved in developing Europe's first joint university and public library, and a state-of-the-art new sports arena for the city. Worcester itself is a charming city with plenty to see and do. There's some lovely countryside nearby too.

The university has invested millions in new facilities, opening several new buildings in the last two years, including new science laboratories, teaching rooms, art studios and halls of residence, on top of its new City campus.

The University of Worcester has a compact leafy campus amid attractive parkland in the suburb of St John's. Purpose-built student village, including brand new halls, ¢G3m sports centre, ¢G1m digital arts centre, ¢G7 million science laboratories, launderette, shop, students' union and library.
